Once Razorpay is integrated and active, you can create workflows that trigger messages instantly when payment events occur. This helps keep customers informed and improves the overall payment experience.

Available Razorpay Workflow Triggers in Turbodev

You can create workflows for the following Razorpay events:
  • Payment Captured (successful payment)
  • Payment Failed
  • Refund Processed

Each workflow can automatically send WhatsApp messages to customers using approved templates.

How to Create Payment Captured Workflow

Send payment status notifications to your customers when a payment is successfully captured.

Steps to configure Payment Captured workflow

  1. Go to Workflows in your Turbodev dashboard
  2. Click on the Payment Captured workflow

  3. Select the WhatsApp template that you have already created and got approved from Meta
  4. Map the required variables such as:
    • Customer name
    • Payment amount
    • Transaction details
  5. Select actions if you want to update any contact fields in Turbodev (optional)
  6. Click Save Workflow
Once the workflow is saved, the toggle will automatically be turned ON.

If you want to deactivate the workflow, you can turn OFF the toggle anytime. Now, whenever a payment is captured in Razorpay, the WhatsApp message will be sent automatically to the customer.

How to Create Payment Failed Workflow

Send automated notifications when a payment fails and encourage customers to retry.

Steps to configure Payment Failed workflow

  1. Go to Workflows in your Turbodev dashboard
  2. Click on the Payment Failed workflow

  3. Select the WhatsApp template approved by Meta
  4. Map the required variables
  5. Select actions if you want to update contact fields in Turbodev (optional)
  6. Click Save Workflow
Once saved, the workflow toggle will be turned ON.

You can deactivate the workflow anytime by turning OFF the toggle. Now, whenever a payment fails, Turbodev will automatically send a WhatsApp notification to the customer.

How to Create Refund Processed Workflow

Send refund status updates to customers and keep them informed about their transaction.

Steps to configure Refund Processed workflow

  1. Go to Workflows in your Turbodev dashboard
  2. Click on the Refund Processed workflow

  3. Select the approved WhatsApp template
  4. Map the required variables
  5. Select actions if needed to update contact fields
  6. Click Save Workflow
Once saved, the workflow toggle will be turned ON.

  • Toggle ON → Workflow is active and messages will be sent
  • Toggle OFF → Workflow is inactive and messages will not be sent

Viewing Razorpay Workflow Logs

Turbodev provides detailed logs for all Razorpay workflow activity.

To view logs:

  1. Go to Logs in your Turbodev dashboard

Here you can view:
  • Workflow name
  • Customer name
  • Customer number
  • Template used
  • Workflow status
  • Message status (sent, delivered, failed)
  • Date and time
You can also:
  • Search using customer name
  • Search using phone number
  • Search using workflow name
  • Filter logs based on status
This helps you monitor and track all automated messages.

Workflow process:
  1. Customer completes payment, fails payment, or receives refund
  2. Razorpay sends the event data to Turbodev
  3. Turbodev triggers the selected workflow
